Covid-19 Special Investigators Ajay Jain has directed district officials to take action to control coronavirus outbreaks. He reviewed the video conference with the collector G. Veerapandian, municipal commissions and other officials from the district center. He ordered the coronation tests to be expedited and moved to Quarantine or Isolation Wards. The government is spending Rs 500 per person per quarantine and all measures should be taken to ensure that all accommodation is at hotel level. Red zone has been declared an area where the number of positive cases is high and suggested to act according to the protocol. If a single positive case is not registered for 28 days from the date of registration, the areas will be declared a green zone. The Adoni Division said the area was a Green Zone and ordered to take concrete action without allowing any other people. There are six municipalities and 13 zones in the Red Zone. Officials have been advised to take steps to ensure that door-to-door delivery is limited to nobody coming out. In areas with green zones from 20th, the respective zones will be allowed with exceptions to industrial, agricultural, allied and rural economic sectors. JC
